WIP Sketch
This is another personal project piece. It is my homage to the artist Sergi Brosa. I love what he does with character designs so I figured that emulating his style might teach me something about my own style.

Staple!
I apologize for the long overdue update to the site. I've been working my butt off getting a comic book ready to go these past few months. Last weekend I tabled at Staple! Independent Media Expo in Austin Texas. Many new prints were made available at that show. The image attaches is one of those prints. The convention was a blast! Staple is one of the few shows that celebrates the creators instead of big name stars.

The quest for robots continue
I'm about complete with the animatic for this film. This image is one of a stack of images I've drawn for the story board. Now that this part of the film making process is complete, the next part is the filming...about damn time!

Here is what I've been up to lately. I've been on a whirlwind learning spree trying to figure out as quickly as possible how to composite a realistic looking robot into a real scene. It felt like I was tumbling down a rabbit hole at times but now that I'm so close to making this robot come to life, my fears of whether or not I'd be able to do this have disappeared.
